Knighton Park is often cited as one of the reasons that people choose to live in South Leicester. From the early morning dog walkers, the outdoor gym users and joggers to the children and families exploring the adventurous play equipment and the winding stream – Knighton Park an important, award-winning open space.

Members of the steering group recently carried out a fun opinion poll to see whether local residents like trees along the roads in Knighton as well as in the park. We chatted with many local people and our colourful vox pops boxes got lots of attention from young and old alike!

Clearly, having trees along residential roads is an important feature that distinguishes Knighton and people who live here support the idea!
